Fat Man Racing was started by Adam and Amanda Berkley in the spring of 2003. The team was formed to give all riders and their familes a team to call their own. With hard work and a great parent group, the team has become one of the most fun and most enjoyable teams to be around.  The first season, in 2003, the team was small but had a devoted group of riders and their familes. The team finished 7th out of 8 teams in the Illinois state series.  In 2004 the team grew with more riders and finished 4th out of 7 teams in the Illinois state series.  In the third year, 2005, the team stepped up it's game and finshed 3rd place in the Illinois state series.  The fourth year, 2006, the team finished 1st place in the Illinois state series proving that it was going to be a force to deal with for many years to come. The fifth year, 2007, the team again finished 1st place in the Illinois state series proving that the year before was not a fluke.  The sixth year, 2008, the team started the year off just like the 2 years before, but came up short at the end of the year and finished 2nd in the Illinois state series.  The seventh year, 2009, the team decided to become a national team and entered the midwest series and ended up finishing 1st in the midwest. This was one of the proudest moments for the team since it's beginning. The team also ended up finishing 3rd place in the Illinois state series. We would like to thank everyone that supports us, families and co-sponsors alike.
